Love Stories Emerging for First Vendors for Vows Charity Event

Vendors for Vows, a charity event, is amazed at the love stories that are coming forth for their event on February 12, 2018. The event is being mounted to fund raise for local charities such as CHEO. However, for $600 that the couple donate to charity, they are getting an amazing wedding that matches their heartwarming love stories.

The wedding industry in Ottawa has teamed together to offer one hour wedding ceremonies with a short reception on February 12, 2018 at the Courtyard Restaurant in the Byward market. Couple will receive a legal ceremony, photography, flowers, cutting cake, hair and makeup and discount rates at the Lord Elgin Hotel. Their whole fee will be donated to charity.

However, as the applications came in, Alan Viau, officiant with All Seasons Weddings Ceremonies, was touched by the love stories that emerged.

The couples who have shared their stories are amazing,” states Viau.

An unexpected meeting for Christina & Seif, “They found love… Unexpectedly. In the midst of frosty Canadian winter. A girl from Ottawa was on a weekend visit to Montreal, when she heard “I like your glasses”, coming from a charming young man with a big open smile.”

For Marlene and John, “We have both been married before, but when we met it was like we recognized one another in our souls and finally understood what love really meant. I proposed to Marlene just after midnight on New Year’s Eve, as it was the first thing I had planned to do in the new year. “

Megan states, “ This man has turned his entire world upside down for me, moving across the country to a place where he has never been, leaving all his friends and family. I would love nothing more than to be able to give my fiancé the wedding he has envisioned. He has done so much for me and my daughter and given up so much for us.”

Walter says, “ We love and enjoy making each other happy each and everyday and how wonderful it would be to celebrate Valentine’s Day with my wife as newly weds. It would be great way to begin our lives together. “

Finally Stephanie exclaims, “This year, we would love the opportunity to celebrate our love with the people that mean the most to us and start 2018 out right!”

The event started as a way for the Ottawa wedding industry to give back to its community. It has also turned out to foster love in people’s hearts.
