How to Get into Shape for Your Wedding Day

A wedding day is something almost every woman dreams about from the time she was a little girl. If you are one of them, then you have probably already pictured it all in your mind: how you will look, what kind of hairstyle you will choose and how will you do your makeup. Now we all know that, when it comes to looks, the dress is everything, and if you want to get your body toned and in shape so that you could look amazing in your dream dress on your special day, here are some tips that will help you achieve that.

Find motivation

The pre-wedding period can be very stressful, and exercising will probably be the last thing on your mind. However, exercising can actually help you fight all the anxiety that comes with preparation. Let your goal motivate you – losing some tummy fat and tightening up the love handles will definitely boost your confidence, and you could definitely use some for your upcoming wedding day.

Find a workout plan

Not every workout routine affects everyone the same, and not everyone has the same goals they want to achieve by working out. Before you make a decision, you should think about your goals (do you want to lose weight or tone your body), your dress style (what part of your body does it enhance), and your current physical abilities. If you can, discuss this matter with a personal fitness instructor. If not, try to research of the recommended exercises for your goal.

Get rid of the unwanted body hair

Getting rid of the unwanted body hair is something a lot of brides-to-be remember just a couple of days before the wedding. However, it is never a good idea to deal with such things so close to the date, because you never know what can go wrong (e.g. your skin can become irritated). Instead, try laser hair removal a month before the ceremony, and you probably won’t have to do it all over again when the day comes.

Take care of your cleavage

Most of the wedding dresses show off a woman’s cleavage, one way or another. This is why you should give some special care to this part of your body a couple of months before the wedding. There are a lot of ways to take care of it, from using a hydrating skin-firming lotion to surgical interventions. If the latter seems too over-the-top for you, just think about it – even a minor cosmetic procedure could fix some of the problems you were struggling with throughout your life, or just make your cleavage look fantastic. You may be worried about the price of the procedure, but the breast lift cost and discomfort are by far outweighed by the benefits.

Manicure and pedicure

Finally, if you think no one is even going to pay attention to the little things such as fingernails and feet, you are very much wrong. The photographer will most definitely zoom in on your gorgeous diamond ring, and they will not pass the chance to get at least one shot of your drop-dead-gorgeous shoes.

Eat healthy

You are probably aware that overeating can disrupt your weight-loss efforts, but did you know that not eating can do the same? You shouldn’t avoid food in this period, but you should definitely switch to a healthier diet which includes a lot of fruit, vegetables, whole wheat and lean protein. On the other hand, you should avoid saturated fats, processed sugars (you don’t want acne breakouts on the day of your wedding), fried and processed foods.
