The fall 2015 Ottawa Wedding Show was a great success. I like the show because it is not overwhelming with lots of vendors. It has the right amount and variety to give you a bride and groom the flavour needed to make decisions.
One of the first decisions a couple needs to make is the venue. With that comes the choice of style of venue and decor that suits you. As I have often stated, there are four styles that brides and grooms choose.
The Ottawa Wedding Show display all four styles that are available around our city.
Rustic: This is a very popular style. However, over the last year I’ve noticed a trend towards elegant rustic. Stonefields Heritage Farm and Le Belevedere were on hand to show this off.

Urban/Modern: Often seen in downtown settings, they are simple and elegant. A classic and easy choice. The Sheraton Hotel was a great example.

Romantic: This style features lots of flowers. It was nicely displayed at the entrance and by DoubleTree Hotel.

Eclectic: And then there is the other category … for more adventurous couples. I loved the three displays on hand. They tittle the imagination.

Don’t miss the next show.
