The property is located on Triunfo Canyon and was historically owned by Hollywood legend Henry Wilcoxon. Wilcoxon was known for his role as Marc Antony in Cecil B. DeMille’s 1934 Cleopatra. He went on to work with DeMille in The Crusades, Samson and Delilah, The Greatest Show on Earth and The Ten Commandments to name a few.  When he stared in The Last of the Mohicans in 1935 he fell in love with the Santa Monica Mountain location, which was chosen as the stand in for Pre-Revolutionary War England 1755.  Henry was so drawn to the area that he purchased the ranch land in the canyon and christened it Seven Oaks. Of all the places he lived around the world, Triunfo Canyon was his favorite.   Now known as Oak Canyon Ranch, we are excited to share the rustic elegance this location has to offer with those seeking natural beauty combined with high-end quality services to compliment your special occasions.
