Yes, it’s true—beaded bodices never really went out of style, but the ones we saw at the most recent Market absolutely kicked things up a notch. Encrusted all-over and dripping with ice, these new styles leave no visible space for fabric—and render extra jewelry almost completely unnecessary.

Volume on bottom without the full-on cupcake look? Sign. Us. Up. We love that designer after designer replaced massive ball gowns with full skirts filled with lighter layers of fabric. They float when you walk, twirl when you dance, and are just all around more manageable for a real, live wedding day.

Flora and fauna are very familiar faces in the bridal world, and we love that designers this season looked directly to the vine for inspiration. Little leaf patterns made multiple appearances on the Spring 2015 runways, and we think they’re the perfect accent alternative for girls who want a bit a pattern but don’t want to go down the rosette route.

We were delighted to see multiple ease of ware gowns on this season’s runways. The clean lines and fluid shapes of these throw-and-go styles are perfect for the sporty bride who isn’t quite ready to jump into pantsuit territory.

The Spring 2015 collections offered up an ingenious solution for brides who love the look of strapless but can’t sacrifice support—illusion straps! Less adorned than last season, these toppers are more purposefully made to blend in.

Taking a page from the Beyonce and J. Lo books, perhaps? The barely there looks we’re used to seeing at concerts aren’t nude at all—substantial layers of flesh-colored fabric create the illusion. Done in full-coverage styles and topped with classic accents like lace, the look is actually very pretty on a wedding dress.

This vintage-inspired style feels daringly stylish as the only focal point of the back—perfect for the modern day bride who still craves a bit of old school romance.

The fit and flare silhouette has long been a staple of the wedding dress world (and with good reason—helloo, bombshell bride), but the asymmetrical styles of this season are actually much more figure friendly. Rather than cut off abruptly at the knees, this “S” shape follows a woman’s curves from top to bottom, thereby elongating and slimming the figure.
