The Vale Earth Gallery on the third floor of the Canadian Museum of Nature opened a new exhibit. It features dazzling minerals and rocks, and explains how geological forces have shaped our planet. There are many interactive games and simulations, which visitors of all ages can enjoy. For example, build a volcano, create an earthquake, watch a mineral grow, look inside a smartphone to see the minerals used in its Manufacturing and manipulate a 1.8 metre-high animated globe.
I was really excited seeing the gorgeous, colourful gems, rocks and minerals – an expansion of what they had before!
The decor of the exhibit made me imagine that a Steampunk Themed wedding could be held there!
We also were treated to the various vendors that the Museum works with for your wedding. We had awesome food from caterers Tulips & Maple, Thyme & Again, Bytown Catering, Gourmet Cuisine & Westin. Music kept us grooving by Quality Entertainment & Professional DJ with the Photo Booth. You’ll see in the pictures the mood set by Axial Lighting. The ultimate treat was being pampered by Loft or “Le Spa”.
I was really impressed by it all. My experience with the Museum of Nature for ceremonies has been nothing short of excellent. I can now state, that having met their vendors, that your wedding will be as spectacular as the evening I attended.
